MBU-12/P Oxygen Mask - With CX-4707 CordThe MBU-12/P oxygen mask is currently being used by the U.S. Military. The shape of the mask provides excellent downward vision. The low profile design brings the mask close to the face and provides excellent stability during high G maneuvers. Anti-roll webs at the nose seal prevent downward roll off. The inherent rigidity of the integrally bonded soft rubber faceseat to a polysulfone plastic hardshell allows adjustment to provide superior sealing during pressure breathing. Please note: The MBU-12/P is used with pressure demand oxygen systems not constant flow oxygen systems found in general aviation cabin aircraft. The advanced design of the combination-breathing valve provides greatly reduced exhalation resistance during pressure breathing, and a rolling diaphragm reduces the potential for valve sticking caused by residue accumulation.
