The Rudder Bias Actuator is a pneumatic actuator installed on the rudder control system of a business jet plane.
In the event of an engine failure, the rudder bias actuators provide additional yaw control power to alleviate pilot effort.
Each actuator is balanced at its neutral position using low pressure bleed air from each engine regulated by spool and sleeve valves
