This equates to a 30 % weight reduction compared with other materials. Across all cargo shipments, the result is an enormous fuel saving and significantly lower CO2 emissions. Robustness The light, yet strong composite boards guarantee minimum buckling compared with flexible lengths of material. This means that it can be handled without any problems on board aircraft. Colour Lightweight Containers of the Thimpfi* series are available in clear white and can be equipped with all kind of markings based on the customers´ requirements. Even printings on the panels are possible. Service life The stronger impact strength compared with aluminum significantly increases the service life of the lightweight container series. In addition, it offers improved protection for the load, less damage and is significantly more UV resistant than other comparable materials.
