he lavatory servicing units are designed for aircraft toilet discharge/replenishment services according to high safety, reliability and hygiene standards. These models are specifically designed to operate perfectly in low temperatures. Built on a sturdy steel chassis, they have an open cab on the left-hand side, an insulated canopy for the systems and two 3 mm thick stainless steel AISI 304 tanks with Ø 500 manhole. Depending on the model, the water tank load capacity ranges from 650 to 1200 litres, while the waste tank ranges from 1250 to 2300 litres. On the front right of the frame there is a platform which can be fixed or with a lift system with a maximum lifting height of 1800 mm or 3000 mm, the platform can be equipped with anti-collision sensors (ultrasonic and/or antennas).
On vehicles equipped with a platform lift, the waste tank is equipped with a telescopic extension connected to a 4″ 4-metre long hose with quick aircraft coupling. The vehicle is powered by a Perkins 404D-22 diesel 36.3 kW/49 bhp @2800 rpm engine. Hydrostatic transmission. Hydraulic power steering. The water system includes a brass transfer pump, a digital litre-counter with a preset automatic stop, a transfer pressure regulator, automatic backflow, and a 4-metre long hose with standard aircraft coupling. On request, the vehicle can be equipped with a vacuum pump with overflow valve and an automatic system for washing the waste tank with a hydraulically operated drain valvesors (ultrasonic and/or antennas).
