CROUZET engineers work with our customers to validate requirements for each fly-by-wire side stick application in compliance with ARP6001. Further, our experience spans the design certification processes of the EASA, FAA, ENAC and TCAA. Our 20+ year history of providing FbW side stick solutions to several OEM's, across a multitude of programs, enables us to offer a universal side stick design.

Our fly-by-wire side stick solutions use RVDTs, potentiometers, and resolvers to capture motion and interface with the flight control computer. All electrical components used are mature components - logging flying hours for more than 20 years. Also, CROUZET sensors reach 1MM FH MTBF, which means no maintenance is required. CROUZET side stick grips are LRU and switches can also be LRU. All of this adds up to us having the technology, experience and capability to provide a more optimized unit in terms of system weight, cost, aircraft integration, pilot acceptance, reliability and maintainability.
We are accustomed to working with both aircraft and system manufacturers in a collaborative environment. When coupled with our extensive and capable on-site test facility, CROUZET is able to support all FbW systems requirements, from development to certification, within the program schedule.
