The amount of salt or saline in the spray can vary depending on the test requirements, as well as the duration of the exposure to the salt spray mixture.Cyclic Corrosion Testing ServicesWith cyclic corrosion testing, the material being tested is cycled through several different environmental cycles. For example, some cyclic corrosion testing includes salt spray, temperature, humidity, or other variables determined by the test standards. A cyclic corrosion test is a testing process that more closely simulates real-world conditions where salt spray or salt fog is designed to create a caustic environment and allow the part to soak for a specific amount of time.
