As many know, the BlackHawk Ranch, National Training Center, and manufacturing facility is off the grid. Solar panels and solar batteries keep the entire Ranch powered. To continue our commitment to making a difference, BlackHawk is proud to announce the NEW BlackHawk AMP Electric Paramotor. A prototype of the AMP was first introduced last year at the 2013 air show in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Unlike normal 2-stroke engines, an electric motor poses many challenges to finalizing the perfect aviation-orientated electric machine. This includes the lightest batteries, a powerful motor, and digital monitoring components, all suitable for foot-launch Paramotor application. Mike Robinson and his team of designers have worked hard to overcome challenges and produce the finest Electric Paramotor the world has seen to date. The AMP costs pennies to operate, is environmentally friendly, and super quiet. The batteries can handle over 1,000 cycles. The 10kW Outrunner motor will run for approximately 50 minutes of flight time with the super-efficient Velocity Elektra Paraglider & 51″ carbon fiber prop. The motor is virtually maintenance-free, requiring no routine replacement or adjustment.
