The BMI vacuum furnaces of the B5_TH family are designed for vacuum oil quenching applications. The heating chamber of this single-chamber furnace is directly integrated in the quenching chamber of the equipment. The load transfer is fully automatic and is carried out by a robust chain system that permits a transfer time in the order of approx. fifteen seconds. The installation is fully automatic and allows perfect reproducibility of the results and offers an economical alternative to the conventional transfer furnace solutions, with a controlled atmosphere.
BMI optionally offers, for its entire range of vacuum oil quenching furnaces, ALLCARB® low-pressure carburisation which is distinguished by its industrial results: precise, reproducible and homogeneous. Its use is facilitated by a software assistant, which helps to calculate the cycle parameters according to the depth sought and the steel grade, while retaining the possibility of modifying them in order to optimise these carburising parameters for a specific application.
This equipment will be specially adapted for vacuum treatments of steel quenching (without surface oxidation) and ALLCARB® low-pressure carburising as an option.
For mass production, just like automobile production, our clients very willingly turn to the furnaces of the P16_TH vacuum furnace family. Clients looking for flexibility, just like heat treatment contractors, prefer B6_TH and its design that offers gas quenching, oil quenching and the option of carburising all at once. Clients who treat long tapering parts, like landing gears components in aeronautics, favour the range of the V6_TH vertical oil quenching furnaces.
