Pluto 3 is a new paraglider which belongs in the middle of EN-B category. It is universal wing for free cross country flying as well as powered paragliding. Pluto is designed for beginners (PG or/and PPG) who have just finished the paragliding course and who want to practice and acquire their skills after the course. Besides more experienced pilots could also use PLUTO 3 for their XC flights. Technical description: Pluto 3 is 4-liner with the shape of a thin ellipse with an aspect ratio of 5,49. We used the new shape of leading edge (APS – Axis pre-pression systém, sometimes called also as shark nose). Due to APS the wing has huge resistance against the front-back swing, e.g. during the flight across the turbulence. Compared to Pluto 2 we changed the whole system of the suspension thanks to which we have achieved an incredible amount of reduction of lines used by 35% less ( Pluto 2- 400 m, Pluto 3 – only 254m!!!!). This technical solution increases the glide ratio of more than 10%. Used materials: Axis Pluto 3 is made of well-known Skytex 38 g/m2. The suspension lines are a combination of Dyneema and Vectran in diameter ranging from 0,9 mm to 2,1 mm. The leading edge is stabilized by a plastic reinforcement. This solution ensures a better max. speed of about 2 km/h. Pluto 3 is produced in 4 standard sizes: S, SM, ML and L, ranging from 60 to 130 kg. For pilots outside this range we produce custom sizes: XS 50-75 kg, and XL 115-145 kg.
