Astronautics has developed its Ibex™ family of next-generation color multifunction displays (CMFDs) for displaying multiple formats of primary flight, navigation, moving map, engine and mission data via ARINC 818 input and RS-422 control interfaces. Ibex displays are lightweight, rugged, and designed to meet the requirements of military helicopters and aircraft in all environments, qualified to shock, high altitude, and extreme temperatures to meet all mission requirements. The Ibex family supports multiple display sizes—6×8-inch, 8×10-inch, 18×8-inch, etc.—through its flexible and common core architecture. Displays include a fully-assembled, lighted switch panel, high-resolution active matrix liquid crystal display (LCD) / backlight assembly, and chassis. Ibex uses its flexible platform to customize for specific customer needs.
