Based on the requirement to host both certified and uncertified applications, Astronautics has developed and evolved a family of dual processor Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs), referred to as Block Point (BP) 3 and 4, which are integrated in avionics and maintenance systems of advanced civil aircraft.
These dual processor/dual hard drive EFBs are widely operated throughout the world with dependable performance in the Boeing 737, BBJ, 747, 757, 767, 777, and 787. From the original 777 Gen 1 (BP3) configuration to the later 787 Gen 2 (BP4) and multi-model design, Astronautics has continued to enhance the performance of the dual processor EFBs with LED backlighting, advanced processors, and more hard drive and RAM memory.
