KDU-44 Keyboard Display Unit is a color display using Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display (AMLCD) technology, with an active display area of 4 by 4 inches. KDU-44 is designed to fully comply “ARINC-739 Multi-purpose Control and Display Unit” standard. It can transmit, receive and display data and status information from subsystems that are compatible with ARINC-429 and ARINC-739 standards. KDU-44 provides Man Machine Interface (MMI) for operator data entry, avionics subsystem mode selections and subsystem status displays (flight, navigation, communication, weapon management) in accordance with ARINC-739 protocol.
