Description

Smart TRACK Sensor (STS) paired with a Radian Laser Tracker will reduce inaccuracies and provide performance data during Robotic Calibration. This system will produce precise measurements and repeatability in manufacturing tasks. Combined use of the laser tracker and STS reveals real-time position and orientation of a moving target like a robotic end-effector. STS continuously locks on to a Radian Laser Tracker to determine position (x, y, z) and angular orientation (pitch, yaw, roll) of a tracked point in real-time. FEATURES AND BENEFITS REAL-TIME TARGETING The Smart Track’s motorized sensor intuitively track’s API’s laser beam to expand 3D data by providing angular information in real-time. LARGE MEASUREMENT ENVELOPE The STS has an operating radius of more than 50 meters & infinite yaw articulation, making it the most advance 6DoF laser tracker sensor in it’s class. VOLUMETRIC ROBOTIC COMPENSATION The accuracy & flexibility of the STS allows, certification, calibration, & compensation of robotic programming. UNMATCHED VERSATILITY Weighing only 1.4 kg (3.1 lbs), the patented sensor’s compact size allows for easy mounting in any orientation on a variety of robots & machine tools. APPLICATIONS SmartTrack™ provides automatic 6DOF measurement for dynamic accuracy applications by determining the position (x, y, z) and angular orientation (pitch, yaw, roll) of a tracked point in real-time revealing the real-time true position and orientation of a moving target such as a robotic end-effector.
