Project included Safety Risk Management Documents, Siting Analysis, Conceptual and Final Design for this Atlanta suburb airport. Five sites were investigated. Comparative Safety Analysis was signed in fourteen (14) days.
A member of the Design Build Team with Peter Brown (Moss) Construction, the CM at Risk Method of construction is complete.
AJT provided construction support including on site inspections, submittal reviews and the design and bid package for communication equipment.
The new 7 story 62'-5" (cab floor height) tower design includes 5 finished levels including cab and 2 unfinished levels for future use. Careful site coordination and stair planning allowed a saving of 2 ft of tower height.
The Tower was awarded the 2015 Georgia Aviation Project of the Year.
