The PDU was developed to allow energy supply for a long time, for maintenance or operational purposes, without generating harmful gases. Additionally, it provides clean energy and a cooler engine start for aircraft or helicopters, even in non-ideal charge conditions. This equipment combines the best of Lithium batteries and the best of Ultracapacitors. The PDU uses an advanced energy pattern diagnosis software to get information from the different systems and components that integrate the aircraft. The analysis will assist in MRO prevention tasks, and in the early detection of possible failures, being a valuable information for risk management procedures. The PDU offers WiFi connectivity, allowing the specialist to analyse the outputs on-line, and historical data records (cloud storage).
