This system replaces multiple mechanical gauges with one highly reliable, highly accurate 4-inch diagonal display. The modular system architecture allows installation flexibility in already crowded instrument panels by separating the Display Unit (DU) Aerosonic Sensing Unit (ASU). The display unit’s thin design fits in the smallest and most shallow panel spaces while the ASU can be placed in any convenient space in the aircraft, eliminating running pitot/static plumbing through the bulkhead.
