Aero Tec Laboratories Inc. (ATL), of Ramsey, NJ, is proud to have teamed with Costa Sunglasses to provide collapsible fuel and water bladder tanks to help aid the relief efforts in the Florida Keys due to the devastation left by Hurricane Irma.
Andrew Cox, Costa's Offshore Community Leader, spearheaded a 3-day clean-up mission in the Florida Keys. His team, comprised of fellow co-workers and volunteers, cleaned up nearly 20 homes during their trip.
Andrew stated, “The bladders ATL sent us for our efforts were instrumental in getting much needed fuel down to the Lower Keys. We headed down there not knowing what the fuel supply was going to be and we were super thankful to have the 100 gallons of fuel to fill both chainsaws and vehicles. At any given point, you could hear the buzz of 6 chainsaws working at one time.”
“Our goal was to get down to the Keys as soon as possible to help some of our guides and captains dig out of their homes. What began as a Costa team and one or two guides quickly morphed into a team of 15 to 20 people moving from house to house in an effort to get people back on their feet with a sense of hope.”
ATL applauds the efforts of Costa and the countless agencies and volunteers that are working tirelessly in the hard hit regions both in the US homeland and in Puerto Rico.
