What is a FNPT Simulator?
FNPT stands for "Flight and Navigation Procedures Trainer." These simulators are designed to replicate the experience of flying a real helicopter in a variety of conditions and scenarios, including:
Basic and advanced flight training:
-Training in takeoff and landing procedures
-Navigation
-Emergency procedures
-Instrument flight rules (IFR) operations
-Certified for IR-ME, MCC and PBN
Type rating training:
It can be used for type rating training, which is required for pilots who wish to operate specific types of helicopters. Type rating training covers the technical aspects of a specific helicopter model, including its systems, controls, and procedures.
Recurrent training:
Helicopter pilots are required to undergo recurrent training to maintain their proficiency and stay current with new regulations and procedures. The FNPT 2 helicopter simulator can be used for recurrent training, which may include emergency procedures, abnormal situations, and system failures.
Specific procedures and systems training:
FNPT II simulators can be used to familiarize pilots with new helicopter types before they begin operating them in real-world scenarios.
